Gloria Bardají has a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona with special honors. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Law of the Catalan region from the Autonomous University (1987-1988).
She is a member of the body of lawyers of the Generalitat (on leave of absence) and of the senior body of civil servants of the Generalitat (on leave of absence). She has had an extensive professional career spanning 15 years in the Department of Territorial Policy and Public Works of the Generalitat de Catalunya, where she was head of the department’s legal department for seven years and, subsequently, director of services.
In 1999 she joined Pareja-Associats as a partner, going on to found her own firm in 2013. In 2020 she joined the Tornos Abogados project as the partner responsible for the urban planning area.
She combines her professional practice with teaching, as an associate professor in the Administrative Law Department of the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Law since 1993. She is a lecturer on various Master’s degrees and courses at different universities (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) as well as at the Barcelona Bar Association, and regularly participates as a speaker at conferences. She is also the author of various publications in collective works on her specialty.
She specializes in urban planning law, compulsory purchase and the government’s financial liability and real estate law.
Since 2009 she has been recognized by the European directory Best Lawyers in the categories Administrative Law and Planning. In 2022 she was named Lawyer of the Year in the specialty Administrative Law.
She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
